I’ve had Swedish classes with P. on and off for over two years, plusminus once a week (with exceptions, vacations, vacations, etc. of course). I’m moving to Sweden in March, and couldn’t ask for a better (language) start. Sure, you don’t learn a language fluently by taking a lesson once a week – but I feel well prepared for everyday life and the first steps in Sweden and don’t have to fear any conversation.

Very good, it was very individually addressed to my problems and these were specifically promoted. I went into the course with the feeling that I didn’t dare speak Swedish and I finished with fluency. I now live in Sweden and can speak it at work as well.

I have a lot of fun in my Icelandic language course, which is not only due to my interest in the language, but also because my teacher can convey the material with a lot of humor and can also convince professionally. He conveys the material in an understandable way and you can see his long experience. I have the feeling that I am making good progress and should I have difficulties with any (grammar) topics, the teacher recognizes this and focuses on the problem. Other topics, which I pick up on very quickly, are kept short accordingly, so that we make progress and don’t get unnecessarily bogged down. I would also like to praise the fact that I notice how Mr. Hohnstein is also concerned outside of the actual Icelandic lesson with how he can adapt the lessons to me specifically and thinks about what additional materials could help me.Furthermore, I think it’s great how spontaneously I can (re-)schedule the lessons. Of course, this is not the purpose, but sometimes necessary.
All in all, I am more than satisfied with my Icelandic course with Mr. Hohnstein and would recommend him at any time. Here I definitely get something for my money!
